Joyroom 20W USB-C PD Charger | iPhone 17 Fast Charge
TL;DR
- Joyroom JR-TCF20 (store SKU JC03, MPN JR-TCF20, ~236 EGP): single USB-C 20W fixed PD wall brick. FNB58 decoded 5V/3A + 9V/2.22A + 12V/1.67A — ZERO PPS APDO. Not JR-TCF23 (that sibling has PPS 3.3–11V/2.25A for Samsung 25W SFC).
- CairoVolt peak 19.58W on the 9V rail (8.94V/2.19A) and 19.52W on 12V/1.67A — both ≥97% of the 20W label on sample CV-CH-JRTCF20-001 (2026-07-24).
- iPhone 15 peaked ~19.2W PD (0→50% ≈ 30 min). Samsung Galaxy S24 did NOT engage 25W Super Fast Charging — no PPS; phone stayed on fixed PD (~14.9W peak, Super Fast indicator OFF).
- Native EU Type-C Europlug (2-pin) on our Egypt retail sample — seats in Egyptian sockets with no adapter. Contrast Anker A2347K11 (~490 EGP): same three-PDO 20W class, but foldable US Type-A on that CairoVolt unit.
- Surface 56.4°C after 15 min at ~20W (ambient 28.0°C). No PZEM — we publish no wall efficiency %. Not JR-TCF30 (dual C+A shared 30W with PPS). Recall check 2026-07-24: no CPSC/Joyroom hit for JR-TCF20.
How this fits Egyptian use — deep dive (airlines · heat · electricity)
For an Egyptian buyer at ~236 EGP, JR-TCF20 answers: "I need an iPhone 20W wall brick with a Europlug that fits Cairo sockets, without paying Anker money or buying a US-to-EU adapter." CRITICAL SKU MAP (do not confuse the Joyroom wall family). (A) JR-TCF20 = this sheet — single USB-C, 20W fixed PD, NO PPS. (B) JR-TCF23 (JC01, ~342 EGP) = single USB-C 25W WITH PPS — Samsung 25W SFC engages on our S24 sample. (C) JR-TCF30 (JC02, ~280 EGP) = dual USB-C + USB-A, shared 30W envelope WITH PPS — different job (phone + earbuds). (D) Anker A2347K11 (AC04, ~490 EGP) = same three fixed PDOs (5V/3A · 9V/2.22A · 12V/1.67A), also no PPS — but foldable US Type-A on the CairoVolt sample, not Europlug. Six realistic fits. (1) iPHONE 12→17 LOST-THE-BOX / spare drawer: 9V/2.22A lands on Apple's ~20W wired ceiling (MacRumors); our iPhone 15 hit ~19.2W / ~30 min to 50%. (2) AUC / GUC / CAIRO UNIVERSITY DORM: EU 2-pin, light (~55g), one socket — no US adapter drama that Anker/Apple imports often create. (3) TALABAT / CAREEM DRIVER bedside top-up between shifts: 20W is enough for an iPhone overnight; do NOT leave it on a midday dashboard (Cairo July avg high ~35°C, WeatherSpark). (4) MIXED HOUSEHOLD that is still iPhone-first: fine; if a Galaxy joins later, step up to JR-TCF23 for real Super Fast Charging. (5) BUDGET vs A2347: same electrical class (~20W three-PDO, no PPS) at roughly half the street price — trade-off is brand documentation / foldable travel plug, not a second PPS rail. (6) WRONG PICK — SAMSUNG-FIRST or dual-device desk: buy JR-TCF23 (PPS phone) or JR-TCF30 (C+A shared 30W). Also wrong for docked Nintendo Switch (needs 15V/2.6A; this brick tops at 12V). PLUG HONESTY: physical sample = fixed EU Type-C Europlug (2 round pins), not BS 1363, not foldable US Type-A. ELECTRICITY: 20W for one hour ≈ 0.02 kWh → a few piastres on EgyptERA residential tariffs. No vampire/efficiency % — PZEM not run.
