Anker Zolo 20K (model A1681), a 20,000mAh power bank with built-in USB-C and Lightning cables, is in Anker’s rc2506 power-bank recall programme (with CPSC) for a lithium-ion overheating fire and burn hazard. CairoVolt serial-checked its stock against anker.com/rc2506 on 2026-07-28 and found it outside the affected range.
TL;DR
- CairoVolt does NOT publish a promotional gold-depth capacity/wattage bench for A1681. Measuring a recalled pack for marketing would violate Bench Test Protocol recall rules.
- Check your unit’s serial at anker.com/rc2506 (or anker.com/product-recalls) on arrival. If it is affected, stop using it, photograph the unit as Anker instructs, and follow Anker’s refund/gift-card remedy. Dispose of recalled Li-ion only via approved HHW channels — not household trash.
- Under 100Wh class packs still need carrier approval rules for flights; an affected unit should not travel in use. To avoid the recall question altogether, compare a model outside the recall set (e.g. Zolo A110E, Prime A1336, or Joyroom JR-PBF14) after verifying its MPN.
