CairoVolt checked the serials of the units it stocks against anker.com/rc2506 on 2026-07-28 and they fall outside the affected range. We still recommend verifying your own unit's serial on arrival using the official link below.
TL;DR
- ⚠️ RECALLED: Anker Zolo 20K (model A1681) is included in Anker’s September 2025 power-bank recall programme (anker.com/rc2506) with CPSC — fire and burn hazard from lithium-ion overheating.
- CairoVolt does NOT publish a promotional gold-depth capacity/wattage bench for A1681. Measuring a recalled pack for marketing would violate Bench Test Protocol §1 and §7.3 recall rules.
- If you own an A1681: stop using it, check your serial at anker.com/rc2506 (or anker.com/product-recalls), photograph the unit as Anker instructs, and follow Anker’s refund/gift-card remedy. Dispose of recalled Li-ion only via approved HHW channels — not household trash.
- Under 100Wh class packs still need carrier approval rules for flights; a recalled unit should not travel in use. Prefer a non-recalled CairoVolt alternative (e.g. Zolo A110E, Prime A1336, or Joyroom JR-PBF14) after verifying that MPN is outside the recall set.
- Merchant machine feeds exclude this slug so Shopping ads do not promote a recalled SKU.

Egyptian buyers who already purchased an A1681 from CairoVolt remain covered by our store warranty and safety escalation path — contact support with the serial and photos. We will not coach “keep using it until it fails.” For a replacement purchase, match the printed MPN against anker.com/product-recalls on the day you buy; do not assume every 20,000mAh Zolo/Prime is recalled (A110E and several Primes are outside rc2506 — verify). Emirates/Flydubai in-flight power-bank use bans still apply to any pack you carry.
