Only if the laptop accepts one of A1290's printed USB-C PD profiles and the cable is rated accordingly. A lower-power source may charge slowly or only under light load.

Is it allowed on planes?

The listed capacity is close to but below the common 100Wh cabin threshold, but approval and use rules are airline- and route-specific. Confirm current rules and keep the Wh label readable.

What ports does it have?

One bidirectional USB-C port (PD up to 60W in and out; we measured a 58.6W peak) and two USB-A PowerIQ 2.0 outputs. Anker lists 78W max for USB-C plus one USB-A and 75W with all three active; consult the shared-power table for simultaneous use.

Details

The Anker PowerCore III Elite 26K (A1290) has a manufacturer-listed 25,600mAh cell rating (about 94.72Wh at 3.7V nominal), USB-C PD output up to the printed 60W profile and two USB-A outputs. A compatible laptop must accept one of the listed profiles and use a suitably rated cable. Capacity at cell voltage does not equal energy delivered at USB voltage, and CairoVolt has not yet published a protocol-grade usable-Wh bench test for this SKU.

How to verify A1290

Match model A1290, the Wh label, input/output table, ports and package contents with the unit and current documentation. If a serial process is supplied, follow the printed instructions or official verification reference. Appearance and price alone do not prove origin.

The verdict

A1290 delivered 80.9Wh usable (85.4% of 94.72Wh) and a 58.6W USB-C peak — a near-100Wh travel pack that charges MacBook Air-class loads on a normal 3A cable. Slug “26800” ≠ printed 25,600mAh. No PPS. Heavier than modern Primes. Not recalled (2026-07-24). Best when Wh and price matter more than wattage.
