⚠️ Limitations (measured)

  • NO ANC — Soundcore FAQ and product page are explicit. Passive cushions only. Metro screech and jet drone bleed through. Step to Q20i (A3004 Hybrid ANC) or Life Q30 (A3028 multi-mode ANC) if that is the job.
  • Not a “light ANC” rung — A3005 has no hybrid/light ANC (unlike Q20i / Life Q20 / Q30), and Q20i ANC-ON hours (sibling CV-EB-A3004-001) do not apply to this SKU.
  • SBC + AAC only — no LDAC, no aptX family. Hi-Res is AUX-wired per soundcore.com, not Bluetooth. Verified twice via Soundcore App.
  • Single mic — street/car WhatsApp intelligible but traffic-loud; matches Soundcore FAQ ambient-noise caveat. AUX cable has no mic.
  • Playtime at 100% + BassUp drops to 31h 20min (~55% of 50%-vol figure) — BassUp DSP is not free; this is not an ANC-ON tax.
  • No soft pouch / hard case claimed on the Q11i box contents we checked — Q20i ships a soft pouch; Q30 a hard case. Fold-flat only on A3005.
  • Single unit tested — production batches may vary in cushion seal, clamp force, firmware. No calibrated SPL meter — no invented dB/ms/SNR.
