JR-T012 (10,000mAh) — Real Charge Count Breakdown

We measured 30.8Wh usable at 5V/2A (about 6,160mAh at 5V, roughly 83% of 37Wh). Charge counts are estimates: measured energy × 0.85 ÷ the phone battery's energy:

• 📱 iPhone 15 (about 13Wh): about 2 charges (est.).
• 📱 Samsung Galaxy S25 (4,000mAh ≈ 15.5Wh): about 1.7 charges (est.).

JR-PBF14 Pro (20,000mAh) — The Travel and Trip Power Bank

Our sample is labelled 74Wh (under the 100Wh carry-on limit); we measured 60.8Wh usable and a 21.3W USB-C peak (rated 22.5W). It has no 20V output, so it is not suited to laptops, and recharging the bank itself took 3 h 22 min in our test.

Understanding Conversion Loss and Rated Capacity

Why do we always emphasize that the actual output capacity of a power bank differs from the prominent capacity advertised on the retail box? The internal lithium cells inside a Joyroom power bank operate at a standard 3.7V. To charge a modern smartphone over a USB connection, the power bank must boost this internal voltage to at least 5.0V for standard charging, or up to 9V/12V for smart fast charging protocols. Applying a simple physical formula: (3.7V × 10,000mAh) ÷ 5.0V = 7,400mAh of theoretical capacity. When factoring in resistance and heat losses within the converter circuits (which range from 10% to 15% in well-designed units), the usable capacity delivered to your device drops — on our Joyroom JR-T012 sample we measured about 6,160mAh at 5V (30.8Wh). This is defined as the "Rated Capacity" (السعة المقدرة), and Joyroom transparently prints this rating on the back of the device, building consumer trust and preventing misleading performance expectations.

The Magnetic Model — Actually MagSafe Compatible?

The Joyroom Magnetic 10,000mAh claims MagSafe compatibility. The technical reality: the magnets are present and attach reasonably to iPhone 12 and newer. But "MagSafe compatible" is not the same as "MagSafe certified." The magnets are arranged correctly but not with the same precision and strength as Apple's MagSafe standard. With movement or tilting — it can detach occasionally.

Wireless charging: our JR-W050 samples charged an iPhone at about 7.3–7.5W (it is not Qi2 and not 15W-class), so it is slower than Apple-certified MagSafe packs and runs a little warmer. If speed matters, use the wired USB-C port (we measured a 19.4W peak). Magnetic attachment is convenient for daily use but may detach during heavy movement.
